Two Minute Silence

The Royal British Legion and Production Company 2AM have filmed a music video called "Two Minute Silence" featuring actors, musicians and sports stars alongside ex-service personnel who are helped by the charity. The aim is to get the track to number one on Remembrance Sunday, forcing Radio One to play two minutes of silence on the radio, something which has never been done before.

Judging from the clip that has been pre-released, the video looks set to be thought-provoking and respectful, a fitting way to get the appeal into the public's consciousness and raise money.

  1. This is a really good idea! Although I don't think it will get much airplay aside from the charts.... I have to admit that a lot of the time I completely forget about the 2 minute silence but this is a good way to get the public to remember. Plus it's for a good cause. The only thing is that the point of the 2 minute silence is to remember, which could be hard when there are celebrities staring back at you.
