Rooftop Pool

Diageo Ireland today launched their new TV advert for Budweiser featuring a giant game of pool taking place on the rooftops of LA.

Normally I shy away from adverts that over-rely on CGI, much preferring when companies take the time to actually produce their advert from real props, however in this case I feel a little bit of TV trickery would have improved the ad no end. The pool cue the men are using is massive, and the actual pool table seems comparatively small and cheaply produced and because of this (and an obvious difficulty in keeping the spot to 30 seconds) what could have been a great advert has left me feeling a bit cold, and unimpressed.
